Our Goal

At The Sleep Therapist, our goal is to help babies and toddlers learn how to sleep with an emphasis on supporting parents while they navigate the sleep training process. Together we will teach your little one the skills for how to sleep independently.

At The Sleep Therapist, we strongly believe that both your mental and emotional wellbeing are equally as important as your child’s!

Meet Ali

Hi! I’m Ali Rosen, aka “The Sleep Therapist”. I am a Licensed Social Worker, Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant, and most importantly, a mom of 2 young boys.

I am passionate about children’s sleep habits and parents’ mental health. With over 10 years of experience working with children and adults in the mental health field, I utilize evidence-based practices, behavior modification techniques, and use a holistic, individualized approach to help parents feel equipped with the tools to help their child (and in turn, themselves) to sleep better. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive space to empower parents to both navigate their baby’s sleep needs and set loving boundaries while also feeling confident throughout the entire process.

How It Works

  • Get to Know You

    It’s important for me to understand your initial thoughts behind sleep training prior to getting started, as well as hear a bit about your family dynamics and lifestyle. It’s perfectly normal for the idea of sleep training to sound “scary” or fuel your anxiety.

    We will talk through all of this during our initial phone call to discuss and ease your nerves before we begin.

    Understanding your mindset, your child’s personality, and your family dynamics will help Ali tailor a specific, solution-focused plan that will work for your particular comfort level.

  • The Sleep Plan

    There is no “cookie cutter” approach when it comes to sleep training. Each family has their own unique lifestyle and every baby has their own personality. I believe it is essential to take an individualized approach and adapt sleep training methods that will work well your family’s needs.

    The Sleep Therapist will combine methods from various sleep training techniques to create a custom, targeted plan that fits your comfort level and most importantly, feels very doable!

  • Follow Ups

    I won’t leave you hanging! After we have discussed and created our sleep training plan, I will be available for calls and texts along the way to help troubleshoot any occurring issues, provide encouragement, and keep up-to-date with your ongoing progress.
